Family Promise of Rochester

Holy Spirit works with a group of local faith communities to provide temporary shelter and meals to homeless families in the area. Volunteers provide this assistance during two weeks in the summer. A short training is required for volunteers. Volunteers are needed to be van drivers, cooks, and evening and overnight hosts to families in need in the Rochester area.

Family Promise Rochester is excited to announce plans for a new facility in Rochester, MN (Olmsted County). Currently, they are hoping for a move-in date of March 2024. This new, larger shelter will allow them to help more families at once within the Southeast Minnesota community. Right now, their waitlist includes 35 families and they do not see this need decreasing anytime soon. They are looking forward to the opportunity to expand and offer programs and services to more participants.
