Food For Kidz—March 12, 2022

Over 200 volunteers, including 60 from Holy Spirit, gathered to pack meals as part of the Food for Kidz food packing event. 
In just under 4 hours, over 115,00 meals were packed!  Each box packed contained 216 meals.
Some of the meals will stay in Rochester to be distributed to those in need by Channel One, Community Food Response, or food pantries at local schools. The other half of the meals will be shipped overseas, hopefully to Poland to assist refugees from Ukraine.

Holy Spirit is one of 4 churches who help with this annual event. Your donations to the Giving Tree helped fund some of the $15,000 needed to cover the materials for the food. Many thanks to those who volunteered at Bethel the day of, and to Holy Spirit parish and the Knights of Columbus for supporting this wonderful cause.
 
Save the Date: The Food for Kidz food pack will return to its original fall date on November 5, 2022.
